Bold, sporty and gender neutreal: NEUNZIG NEUNZIG stands for the joy of football – regardless of gender. The focus is on women (FLINTA: women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people) and all the exciting stories from the alternative league to the national team. Because 90 minutes are 90 minutes, no matter who is on the pitch.
Initiator Laura Kaufmann worked as a team photographer and in communications at FC Zurich Womens Team from 2019 to 2022 and completed her master thesis in design at ZHdK (specialisation in Trends & Identity) on the topic of women's football in 2023. NEUNZIG NEUNZIG forms the core of her thesis and was launched during this year's Women's European Championship in the form of a podcast, newsletter and Instagram feed.
At the same time, a magazine is being planned with the aim of bringing women's football in German-speaking countries out of its – still – niche existence and strengthening it through public discourse.

I've had the honour of creating the design concept for the whole brand NEUNZIG NEUNZIG.
